Mitchell, Arlington Heights, for Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the family lot following the Mass. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the funeral home. Born Jan. 4, 1939, in Chicago, to Robert and Mary (nee McIntyre) Kenney, he died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights. Mr. Kenney started his career as a commercial industrial real estate appraiser/ mortgage banker achieving the SRA designation and later worked as a commodities trader. He later became the proprietor of R.E. Kenney Appraisal. Skip served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He loved golf and will be remembered as a good joke and storyteller and as a true and easy friend. He walked hand in hand to his journey with his higher power. A friend of Bill W. His survivors include his wife, Eugenia M. "Gina" (nee Wawrzyniak), whom he married July 16, 1966; his daughter, Kathleen (Dr. Robert) Stevens of Chicago, his son, R. Michael Kenney of Arlington Heights; and he was "Papa Scoop" to Jack and Scott Stevens. Skip was preceded in death by his father, Robert; and his mother, Mary Garrity.     Upon the body of P. J. Kiley at 425 So. Robey St. in the City of Chicago, County of Cook, State of Illinois, on the 24th day of March 1893. VERDICT: The said P. J. Kiley now lying dead at 425 So Robey St. in said City of Chicago, County of Cook, State of Illinois cause to his death on the 23rd day of March 1893 from pneumonia resulting from exposure.     Suffocation Alleged to Be the Cause of P. J. Kiley's Peculiar Death.
    P. J. Kiley, employed in the election Commissioners' office, who lives at No. 425 South Robey street, went home last night at 8 o'clock under the influence of liquor. His wife refused him admittance. Shortly before midnight he was found dead, lying face down in the barn in the rear of the premises, by Patrick Feeney [sic], his father-in-law. Dr. Brown said death was caused by suffocation.
