(Donna) Thomas of Wheaton, Patricia Ann (Urban) Kerner of Hudson, Wis., Mary Thomas of Buffalo Grove and the late James P. Thomas; dearest brother of Dolores Lauer of East chicago, Ind; and loving grandfather of seven.

Additionally, she would have only been 5 years old in 1870, yet she is not listed on the 1870 US Census with her family. Futhermore, nephew John Madigan, did not recall a Marian/Mary in the Thomas family. Therefore, it is believed she died prior to September 1866, most likely in Ireland.3

And, his nephew, John Madigan, did not recall there being a Patrick Thomas in the family which adds to the belief that he died young. Since he didn't seem to make the trip to the New World, it is believed he died in Ireland.3,4
