S. envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary to the Balkan states from 1913 to 1917. Her grandfather was also twice a member of the chicago Board of Education. Mrs. Sullivan is survived by a son, Joseph r; and daughter Sue Brander; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister.
