    Funeral services were held here today for Solomon Liston Steidley, 56, insurance broker of 286 Santa Clara Avenue, who died Monday at a local hospital after an illness of several months.
    Steidley, a native of Carlinville, Ill, had lived here for 35 years.
    He was a member of Live Oak Lodge of Masons, Oakland Scottish Rite Bodies, Aahmes Temple of the Shrine, Aahmes Patrol and Lodge No. 103, Knights of Pythias.
    Surviving him are his widow, Christina; three sons, Burke, Dean and donald Steidley, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander B. Steidley.
    The rites were conducted by Live Oak Lodge at the Cathedral Chapel of the Grant D. Miller Mortuaries.
