Good morning Elaine. I have spoken with you before regarding the Sullivan family. I was wondering if you have ever run across any information about the Sullivan Cross?
In a letter sent to Francis Peter Sullivan II, the cross was given to Ted Sullivan when Father Selvan Augustine S.J gave Ted the last rites.
The Sullivan cross contains a first class relic of Saint Igratius Loyola, and two small bone fragments. On the back of the cross is the wax seal of the Jesuits to prove authenticity.
The cross was then given to Father Selvan Augustine S.J on Wednesday November 8, 2000.
I am just trying to locate the cross for my son-in-law so he might go and see it.
Any help you might be able to give me would be greatly appreciated.

Headline: New Manager for A. O. Smith Plant to Arrive
New works manager of the A. O. Smith Corp. auto frame manufacturing plant here will be Thomas A. Sullivan, who takes charge tomorrow, it was announced today by John S. Randall, automotive group executive at the firm's headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisc.
Sullivan, who relinquishes the post of sales manager of the heat exchanger department for A. O. Smith, succeeds Peter S. Blake at Granite City. Blake, who had headed the Granite City plant since its operating inception in 1954, has returned to Milwaukee where he is attached to the staff of Fred Mackey, vice-president in charge of manufacturing.
The new plant manager has been with the company since 1950, spending the past six years in the firm's process equipment division and the last two in management or sales in the heat exchanger department.
Before joining the corporation Sullivan was a management consultant for several years with offices in Milwaukee and Chicago. Other associations were with Johnson & Johnson as factory manager of its wartime gas mask division and as plant manager and treasurer of Continental Cushion Spring Co. of Chicago from 1937-41.
Sullivan is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, a mechanical engineering graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology and a prossessor of a masters degree in economics from Marquette University. He is a registered professional engineer in Illiinois.
