A reunion, or at least a first meeting, of descendents of Patrick and Michael McIntyre took place on January 26-27, 2014 in the San Francisco bay area. Attendees traveled from Canada (on the way to El Salvador), Washington State and Chicago. Californians from Hayward, San Francisco, Sebastopol, Mammoth and Sacramento also attended. We spent the first day getting to know each other, looking at photos, hearing stories and just enjoying each other's company. Our hostess opened up her home to us and provided us with wonderful meals. On day two, our "tour guide" led the six of us on a wonderful Family History tour. We visited cemeteries in Colma, California, located the spot where Patrick and Bridget McIntyre lived in San Francisco in the 1860s, walked the Embarcadero, and shared fine meals. Family became friends.
