    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 23, at Trinity Lutheran church, in St. Joseph, of which he was a member. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Kerley & Starks Funeral Home, St. Joseph. Memorial may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or donors choice. Burial will be in North Shore Memory Gardens, Hagar Shores, where graveside military rites will be conducted by Coloma American Legion No. 362, Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 1137, Benton Harbor and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 17, Benton Harbor.
    Mr. Pesko was born November 27, 1915, in Chicago. He was a foreman for Clark Equipment Co., in Benton Harbor, retiring in 1974. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran, serving during World War II, and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 163, St. Joseph.
    Surviviors include: his wife, Anna (Batke) Pesko, whom he married on Jan. 24, 1942, in St. Joseph; three daughters -- Mrs. Richard (Janice) Bicknell and Mrs. James (Karen) Walder, both of Longmont, Colo., and Mrs. Richard (Linda) Van Hoedt of St. Joseph; four granchildren; four great-granchildren; two brothers -- Frank Pesko of Benton Harbor and George Pesko of St. Joseph; and three sisters -- Leza Cranz of Delton, Mich., and Anna Mosher and Lou Hook, both of Benton Harbor.
    He was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Pesko, in 1961, a grandson, Jeffery Van Hoedt in 1972, his parents, Fred and Anna (Samaschko) Pesko, a sister Sophie Pesko, and a brother, Michael Pesko.
